Jag tar gärna emot en Windows Vista Ultimate retail licens.

Jag har problemet att tex min USB disk dyker upp i 2 upplagor om man tex går in i bilder i VMC. Dessutom dyker alla bilder upp i minst 2 kopior, i vissa kataloger tom i 5 kopior. Tidigare haft bevakning även på backupmappar på andra hårddiskar, men inte nu längre. I de mappar som är upplagda för bevakning i MC och MP finns bilderna endast i 1 ex. Kopiporna pekar mot samma fil, inte flera olika filer som det borde. Det talas enbart om att lägga till saker i biblioteket, men hur tar man bort? Det måste finnas bättre sätt än att ta bort biblioteksfilerna och läsa in allt på nytt. Tar man bort bevakning för en mapp verkar det inte som att filerna som tillkom från den tidigare bevakade mappen tas bort ur biblioteket. Allt ovan borde bero på att multipla mappar bevakas, men så är alltså inte fallet.

Har problem med min familjefotosamling, dels så är många tumnagelbilder tomma i första vyn, går man sedan in och skall titta på en packe bilder så hänger sig ofta media center och man får titta på snurrikonen i evighet. Har ca 180 bildmappar med upp till 600 bilder i varje, i snitt kanske 50 bilder per mapp. I utforskaren eller andra bildprogram som picasa hanteras bilder utan påtaglig fördröjning. Har 2 gig ram samt ramboost på 4 gig, 2,4 coreduo, 350+500 gig hd. Ämnet redigerat av stenis, har förtydligat ämnet/rubriken

Litet men ändå irriterande problem. På min dator med Vista Premium är de högsta ljudinställningarna som kan iklickas 24-bit 96 kHz. Allt fungerar då i andra mediaspelare som Foobar eller winamp. Dock ej i media center/media player- allt blir tyst utan felmeddelande. CD skivor funkar, men inget mp3 eller wma material. Med 48 kHz fungerar det. Varför är det så? Har samma problem både med ett Audigy NX USB och ett Creative extreme audiokort. (trång HTPC-låda) Det märkliga är att det tidigare funkat helt ua, men ej nu. Är det codec-relaterat? Testat AC3 filter och allt annat jag kommit på utan effekt. Har förstås alla uppdateringar och senaste drivrutiner osv. Funkar 96 kHz i ert media center? Kör Vista premium med Creative Audigy 2 NX USB. Vid installation i mars -07 klickade jag i 24-bit 96kHz ljud i Vista, hade inga ljudproblem. Nu sedan en tid fick jag ljudproblem - ljudet föll bort oregelbundet i media center. Tittade närmare på ljudinställningarna och fann då att 24-bit 96kHz inte funkade i media player och följaktligen inte heller i media center. CD funkar, men inget rippat (wma vbr/mp3 128-192 kb, det blir helt enkelt tyst utan tecken på ljuduppspelning). Alla andra mediaspelare lirar på som vanligt, men för att få ljud i media player måste jag backa till 24-bit 48 kHz. Bytt drivrutiner och creatve console ett par gånger utan effekt. I creative console kan man ju välja bit djup och frekvens på ut-ljud, detta verkar inte direkt relaterat till inställningen i vista. Har någon koll på hur detta hänger ihop? NXen skall vara ansluten med USB 2.0. Som sagt funkar allt utom just media player, läste att endast PRO codecen till MP stödjer 96 kHz, men varför funkade det en så lång tid innan då? Hur förhåller sig ljudinställningarna man gör i Vista till de man gör i Creative audio console? Hur skliljer sig ut-signalen i USB kabeln (som skall vara digital) från den i en SPDIF kabel? För spdif ställer man ju in separat i vista. Påverkar vistainställningarna alls utflödet via usb? Har trixat en hel del med detta, uppdaterat certifikat osv utan effekt. Vista är fullt uppdaterat.

Undrar om någon känner något sätt att få Vista att automatiskt logga in på externa diskar efter omstart. Har en nätverksdisk för foton och musik. Vore perfekt om man kunde få media player och picasa att lägga filer direkt på NAS-disken, bägge defaultar till lokala mappar så fort man inte är inloggad på någon extern disk. (Tvingas ofta starta om datorn då MC fjärren ofta inte är med då datorn går ur viloläge. (har någon en lösning på det?-har testat det mesta utan effekt som batteritricket, MS USB-fix osv))

OK, Men jag har 52 problem loggade, Vista har hittat 5 lösningar. Klickar man på någon av lösningarna kommer man till en sida som visar vilka språk lösningen finns på. Dock blir nästa anhalt beskedet "lösningen kan ej visas" på alla språk och på samtliga lösningar. Suboptimalt, minst sagt.

Vista har ju en inbyggd finess, "problem och lösningar". Problem dyker ju upp ständigt och då man scannat ett par gånger dyker en rad lösningar upp. Dessa finns aldrig på vårt språk, vore ju OK om man kom åt dem på engelska iaf. Min fråga: Dessa lösningar som explorer skall hitta till fungerar aldrig, inget hittas. Är detta ett fenomen bara för mig, eller fungerar detta hos någon annan. Bugg? Kör Vista Premium.

Har skrivit 2 frågor om detta, hittills inget svar. Finns det ingen av er experter här som har några tips om hur man får utdelning av filer i nätverket med Vista/WMP11 att fungera stabilt. Det vore värdefullt om någon bara kunde berätta om det fungerar bra hos någon. Jag vill dela ut musik i nätverket för uppspelning i soundbridgeapparater. Helst som förut med musiken kvar på en nätverksdisk, i andra hand från Vistadatorns lokala delat mapp, bägge falerar i nuläget, "sharing is stopped". Med XP gör du ju en registerändring för att få det att fungera. Problemet verkar röra antingen passwordkravet i vista, att få till anonym inloggning eller om det gäller någon registerändring specifik för vista. Närbesläktade problem är ju att få till utdelning av recorded TV mappen för uppspelning på andra datorer samt uppspelning på extenderenheter som Xbox, i dessa fall finns det ju guider (om än rätt komplicerade) för hur man skall göra, men inte hur man får till uppspelning på en soundbridgeenhet. Någon i detta land borde väl använda "dela ut min media" funktionen i hemnätverk med soundbridge eller någon annan mediaspelare, kanske tom med sin musik på en nätverksdisk och fler datorer med olika konton?

Nybliven Vista premium ägare som undrar: Onlinematerialet i MCE är ju i princip tomt, varför är det så och hur lägger man till webtv och webradio stationer så att man kan välja dem med fjärren? Online spotlight verkar ju bara vara för MCE 05? Sen vore jag väldigt tacksam för input på mina andra postningar om fjärren som tappar kontakten samt WMP11 som vägrar dela ut min media i nätverket.

Hej, postade ju ett litet inlägg om problem att dela mediafiler på en nätverksdisk, Microsoft beskriver här hur man delar ut filer på en annan dator i nätverket. Är det inte otroligt att det inte kan lösas på något enklare sätt i ett nytt operativsystem? Hur man gör om filerna ligger på en nätverksdisk har jag ännu inte löst, och tydligen ingen annan heller då ingen svarat på mitt tidigare inlägg. Why can't I play files that are shared by one computer but located on different computer? A. You can use Windows Media Player 11 to share media files that are located on other computers on your home network. However, additional steps are required so that these remote files will play on the devices you are sharing them with. On the remote computer, the media files must be in shared folders. For information about sharing folders, see Windows Help and Support. On the computer that contains the library you are sharing, you must grant users permission to access remote folders, modify registry key values, and monitor the shared folders located on the remote computer. The information in this section covers only granting permissions and modifying registry values. For information about monitoring folders, see What are monitored folders? There are five different procedures for granting permission to remote folders. The first procedure must be done and enables remote content sharing on the computer that contains the library you are sharing. The second procedure grants a specific user account permission to access folders on other computers. However, it will disable sharing for all user accounts except the account you specify. Also, if another user has sharing enabled on this computer, the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service might not start if this procedure is followed. OK, skall testa det, annars såg jag att det fanns en fix från Microsoft (RB925529) som skulle hjälpa mot borttappade USB-enheter. Skall testa den vid tillfälle.

Finns det något sätt att få Vista att själv välja zoomläge 4 vid 4:3 sändningar och 1 vid 16:9? Lite jobbigt ju att behöva göra en musaktion efter nästan varje kanalbyte. Kör fireDTV mot en LG42LC2R pixelmappat över DVI-HDMI.

När Vista går vaknar ur viloläge fungerar inte MCE-fjärren. Jag måste riva HTPCn ur bänken och dra ur-sätta i USB sladden för att få igång den. Testat tipsen med att ta ur batterierna samt ta bort enheten och starta om utan effekt.

Problem: "Media sharing is stopped" Får trots dagar av grejande inte till mediadelningen. Har en HTPC med Vista Premium och mediafilerna på en nätverksdisk samt 2 Soundbridge rör för uppspelning. Allt fungerar väl med min bärbara som server (XP/WMP11), hade dock sett fram emot att slippa ha den igång jämt. Har testat de 2 tipsen i webbhjälp utan effekt. Mediedelningsservicen körs och kan startas om utan problem. Både tagit bort och satt maximala rättigheter i registrets HME sträng. Jag har satt maximala rättigheter på alla konton jag hittat. Irriterande nog fick jag det helt plötsligt att fungera en kväll och kunde sova lugnt, trodde att problemet var ur världen. Men morgonen efter var delningen stoppad igen! På microsofts sidor kan man läsa hur man får igång delning med mediefilerna på en annan dator, en process i 5 rätt komplicerade steg, dock har jag inte hittat någon guide då filerna ligger på en nätverksdisk. När dessa nu är så billiga borde det inte vara ovanligt med en setup som min. Har på känn att man måste få till anonym inloggning till filerna på nätdisken då det inte verkar räcka att sätta "tillåt" på alla konton. Bäst vore att kunna disabla alla säkerhetsspärrar och snårig kontohanterning med olika ägare och användare, det känns helt onödigt i ett hemnätverk och ställer bara till med problem. HTPCn kommer själv åt filena utan problem, men vägrar som sagt att dela ut dem i nätverket. Brandväggen och mediadelning med inloggning är avstängda. Tacksam för tips.
