Ajdå det låter ju inte bra. Jag kör fortfarande 3'an och den slöar verkligen inte ner något. Så du kanske borde testa den istället och jag kanske bör stanna kvar vid den ett tag till och hoppas att de löser det med 4'an.

Jag kör CIS 4.0 och har inga problem, var segt vid första helscanningen, nu lika snabbt som 3.14, har inga låsningar eller några andra problem.

We have just released COMODO Internet Security 4.0.141842.828. This is a maintenance release which addresses several previously reported bugs.

The main reason for this release is the demand from our users for a standalone executable installer for the individual products.

Universal web installers are capable of installing the product itself and if you download this version, you do not need to download the other files.

Hoppas att dom har fixat problemet med cmdagent som drar upp cpu´n i 50% då och då. För vissa även upp i 100% enligt forumet.

Brukar hända ett par gånger om dagen, under 1-2 minuter. Det märks mest genom att fläkten börjar varva upp och är lite störande.

Automatic Updates

All of the 4.0 users should now be receiving the update notifications and can update to the latest version by using the automatic updater.

The current CIS 4.1 installers can be used to install CIS 4.1 on top of CIS 3.x without loss of the existing 3.x configuration.

COMODO Internet Security 3.x users will be receiving the update notifications starting from June 7th Monday.

We made a small update today to address some of the issues you might be facing. It will be a two phase update.

First phase which is today(9th June) addresses the following issues:

* Windows start menu can not be clicked if Defense+ is enabled

* Antivirus identifies some files as Corrupted

Second phase which is tomorrow(10th June) addresses the following issue:

* COMODO Antivirus decreases the performance of file downloads if installed as standalone

You should be receiving the automatic updater messages already and do not need to reinstall.

The new setups are available at http://personalfirewall.comodo.com/free-download.html

COMODO Internet Security/Firewall/Antivirus 3.x users will also get a notification for the updates. The 3.x users will be guided to the download page above where they can download the latest version and upgrade their products to 4.1 by manually downloading the appropriate setups.

Det största problemet var ju att det stal all 100 % datorkraft när datorn skulle skannas. Det gick inte ens att stänga av utan jag var tvungen att använda omstartsknappen på datorn.

Scannade med nya CIS Premium igår och så slött gick det inte, inga problem här heller.

Där emot funderar jag på uppdaterings funktionen, hur ofta söker nya versionen av efter definitioner till anti-virus och installerar? Tycker man har fått kålla manuellt sedan jag installerade Premium, eller är det bara ovana? Tycker den gamla versionen av CIS uppdaterade definitionerna konstant nästan.

Här kommer mitt första inlägg i min egen tråd sedan i höstas.

Jag bara slås av hur tyst CIS är numera, inte ens vid installation av program brukar den säga något. Däremot hamnar saker i sandlådan onödigt ofta. T.ex. så är det väl ändå en fånig miss att man inte kan köra Windows egen Calculator utan att den läggs i sandlådan av CIS... På det hela taget tycker jag i alla fall att CIS har utvecklats mycket sedan den första versionen. Under skalet har ju mängder med tekniker byggts in som man inte märker av, men som tillsammans bidrar till bättre skydd mot skadlig kod.
