Hänger/fryser sig vid underhåll (vänteläge)

Av någon anledning har datorn börjat hänga/frysa sig helt när underhållet kör igång när jag inte är vid datorn, dvs. när datorn går in i vänteläge (idle). Detta har inte hänt tidigare, och då har jag haft W8 installerat sedan det släpptes på marknaden.

Jag har kört sfc /scannow, och fick resultatet;

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log."

Nu är det så att jag inte har en aning hur jag ska tyda loggen, så jag vet inte hur jag ska gå vidare med det. Vad ska jag göra? Vad är det som är fel?

Väljer jag funktionen att felsöka min hårddisk med det inbyggda verktyget "felkontrollen" så säger den att det inte finns några fel.

Du kan börja med att plocka ut CBS-loggen efter en sfc-körning med kommandot...

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt

...då du får en textfil på skrivbordet.

Sen kan du klistra in resultatet här, så är det säkert någon som kan hjälpa dig vidare.

Tack för otroligt snabba svar e-son!

Jag gick in och tog således bort skrivaren från listan. Dock tror jag att en inbyggd skrivarrutin används vid utskrifter, då jag aldrig har "installerat" skrivarens drivrutin. Men i vilket fall, jag tog bort den, startade om datorn, gjorde en ny sökning och fick samma fel. Sökte på felet, fick upp förslag om att köra;

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Fick dock felet:

The source files could not be downloaded. Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifiying a source location, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077

The DISM log file can be fount at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Så, där var det en återvändsgränd.

Har haft lite funderingar på KB2769165 som tycks innehålla lite av varje, om det ger någon ledtråd om något tredjepart program.

En tänkbar "work around" är att, som jarru är inne på, avinstallera uppdateringen KB2769165. Det är ingen kritisk uppdatering så det bör vara ofarligt. Vad det eventuellt kan få för följdverkningar, vågar jag dock inte sia om.

Har läst om problemet på nätet, jag undrar varför KB2769165 som innehåller "okända element" har blivit "inblandat" i cbs-loggen eftersom de tycks "hänga ihop". Normalt sett ska windows fungera UA utan inblandning av tredjepart pgm. men, vad jag förstår kan "sfc" också ge falska positiv. Krångla inte till det för mycket, det kan vara någonting väldigt enkelt också. Det är mycket möjligt att problemet försvinner efter en tid, annars brukar e-son ha bra förslag på hur gå till väga.

Som jag uppfattar det så har KB2769165 ändrat på Windows validering av de aktuella komponenterna i prncacla.inf... hashen stämmer alltså inte längre med den som Windows förväntar sig. Detta ger 2 tänkbara scenario. Antingen är det fel på KB2769165, eller också är prncacla.inf verkligen korrupt... men jag är som sagt inte expert på att tolka cbs-loggar.

Det är jag inte heller,, but it doesn't figure,, det är möjligt att servern och datorn i fråga inte har en bra anslutning.

Sedan gammalt har det brukat kunna fixa sig utan att göra ett dyft genom uppdate, men det beror på vad (oavsett användare)
har gjort med datorn. Har du varit i kontakt med ibm-tokenring någonting ? Jag blev inte klok på det då, nu kanske.
