Är det någon förutom jag som använder denna webbläsare ?

Tor är ett nätverk som krypterar trafik mellan flera olika servrar. Detta gör att det blir svårare att spåra konsumenter eftersom din IP-adress inte är synlig. Det fungerar väldigt likt hur ett VPN krypterar din data. För att få ett så bra skydd som möjligt är kombinationen av en bra VPN och Tor-webbläsaren oslagbar.

Är inte tor lite overkill för att undvika att Facebook råkar lagra en kaka på din dator? Och är det inte långsamt? Läst att det är väldigt långsamt.

Är man inte lite paranoid, om man måste undvika kakor och att bli spårad från någon webbsida? Då blir ju surfningen lidande i slutändan.

Just Tor eller VPN har nog inte någon särskild betydelse när det gäller kakor. Numera är det ju standard att Firefox blockerar en massa kakor som används för spårning.

Däremot med Tor och VPN blir det väldigt svårt att för en webbplats eller någon som avlyssnar trafiken att ta reda på var i världen man är.

New Alpha Release: Tor Browser 13.0a1 (Windows, macOS, Linux) 🧅 🦊

This release updates Firefox to 115.2.0esr, including bug fixes, stability improvements and important security updates. This is a Desktop platform only release (Windows, macOS, and Linux), but Android should be available in the coming weeks.

This is our first alpha release in the 13.0 series and represents a transition from Firefox 102-esr to Firefox 115-esr. This builds on a year's worth of upstream Firefox changes, so alpha-testers should expect to run into issues. If you find any issues, please report them on our gitlab or on the Tor Project forum.
