Nu har jag testat att installera med den svenska versionen av Vista, men även här upplever jag samma problem. Jag gjorde en uppgradering från XP Professional. När datorn "förbereds för att starta Windows Vista för första gången" så startar datorn bara om sig. Jag gick då tillbaka till XP (avinstallerade Vista samtidigt) och kopierade över memory.dmp till denna dator för felsökning. Dessvärre får jag inte fram någon information alls, utan det verkar som att filen är korrupt. Detta får jag fram när jag kör !analyze -v : Page 800000 too large to be in the dump file. Jag får tänka på det nästa gång jag försöker installera Vista på den datorn. Det var "länge" sedan jag försökte och håller inte på med det längre. Jag kom bara att tänka på att ni kanske hade några tips sådär på rak arm. Det kan även vara svårt att boota till XP när det var den partitionen som användes för Vista. Visserligen kan jag skapa en ny, enbart för Vista, men vi får se. Tack för allt ändå!

Hej! För ett tag sedan fick jag hem en RTM-version av Windows Vista. Jag installerade den snabbt för att testa på min dator - allt fungerade utmärkt (även fast vissa drivrutiner inte var riktigt optimerade för Vista). När jag sedan skulle installera Vista på min dator som står bredvid (med samma skiva) så vägrar installationen. Det går utmärkt att välja partition och hela den "biten" går igenom. Datorn måste därefter startas om för att starta den "riktiga" installationen. Då blåskärmar datorn - varje gång! Vista vägrar installeras! Jag har provat med fler skivor, men ingen fungerar på just DEN datorn! Jag har även försökt uppgradera från engelskt XP, men då får jag ett felmeddelande (kommer tyvärr inte ihåg vad det stod). Jag har sökt i flera dagar på både felkoden och efter andra som har haft liknande problem, men utan resultat. Jag har dessutom försökt kopierat alla filer till hårddisken för att börja installationen därifrån, men får samma felmeddelande. Här är specifikationerna för datorn som Vista fungerar på: AMD 4600+ X2, 2GB DDR2, 500GB HDD, GF7900GT, MSI K9N NEO-F (nForce 550). Här är specifikationerna för datorn som Vista INTE fungerar på: AMD 64 3500+, 1GB DDR2, 160GB HDD, GF6800XT, ECS NFORCE4M-A (nForce4). Det är, som ni ser, lite skillnad på prestanda, men Vista fungerar på sämre. Tack på förhand!
