CCleaner 5.44 har släppts, och visar reklamrutor på skrivbordet. Tillsammans med andra förändringar sedan Avast tog över programmet, har jag därför beslutit att inte längre meddela nya versioner här. Jag har också tagit bort CCleaner och Defraggler på mina vänners datorer och mitt virtuella Windows 10. Därtill kan det sannerligen ifrågasättas om städprogram gör mer nytta än skada, och nyare versioner av Windows mår nog bäst utan sådana program. Windows 10 har också automatisk städning (Storage sense) om man så vill, och Diskrensning finns också i äldre Windows-utgåvor. Också defragmentering sköter Windows själv. Det enda som saknas är olikfärgade rutor som flyttas omkring under pågående defragmentering…
