Såg just på PC För Allas hemsida om just Windows 7 Beta, läs mer på länken nedan. Den som har Windows 7 Beta 1 installerad måste installera Windows 7 RC. Men måste installera en ren installation uppgradering ej möjlig.

Visst, det är lugnt, jag kör Windows 7 RC1 7100 på en virtuell dator och får ha den till juni 2010.

Och översatt till svenska förstås, men jag brukar byta till den engelska, lite då och då, eftersom jag har bägge i VMware.

Det går att uppgradera beta till rc, men det kan leda till oönskade situationer som alltid när det rör betaprodukter.

1. Browse to the sources directory.

2. Open the file cversion.ini in a text editor like Notepad.

3. Modify the MinClient build number to a value lower than the down-level build. For example, change 7100 to 7000 (pictured below).

4. Save the file in place with the same name.

5. Run setup like you would normally from this modified copy of the image and the version check will be bypassed.
