Seagate Extern HDD (health 68%)

Recommended Posts

Hej,

Monitoring: S.M.A.R.T.

Power on time:

440 day(s)

Disk health: 68%

Health of the disk is below the warning level at 70. Decreasing disk health may be an indicator of imminent disk failure. Review the S.M.A.R.T. attributes and/or monitoring script messages to determine cause of the problem. <a href="1">Get help online</a>.

Disk temperature: 37 °C.

Spin Retry Count S.M.A.R.T. attribute indicated spin retries. This may indicate problems with motor or bearing of the hard drive. Regular backup is recommended; if health continues to decrease, consider disk replacement.

Kört HDtune, kört Seagates kontrollprogram, kört Windows kontroll via Enhetshanteraren, inga anmärkningar.

Vem skall man lita på?

Mvh

Hej,

Count of retry of spin start attempts. This attribute stores a total count of the spin start attempts to reach the fully operational speed (under the condition that the first attempt was unsuccessful). An increase of this attribute value is a sign of problems in the hard disk mechanical subsystem.
